My Teaching Philosophy

 “My teaching philosophy is that all children are different and unique in their own way. I believe that educators should have stimulating learning environments that is developmentally appropriate and fit the needs of each of our students. Our learning environment should also make our students feel like they belong, safe and supported. My role as an educator, is to help every student to grow emotionally, physically, socially, and mentally. I will also help them reach their full potential.”

Childhood Education International is guided by four elements: Start Early, Work Collaboratively, Think Innovatively and Act Globally. 

Childhood Education International believes children's growth and development must began in the early stages of nurturing. They stress the importance of collaboration among early childhood learners which promotes accountability, and positive social development. Through it's act of encouraging early learners to be innovative in their thinking, it encourages early learner education transformation which is needed to help students better prepare for the world of tomorrow. The ultimate goal of educators worldwide is to ensure that their learners are able to compete worldwide through Childhood Education International, early learners are prepared and trained to act globally and are prepared to compete globally.

Description: A non-profit organization found by university scholars and researchers who nationally wanted to invest in the field of education. This organization have entwine research, policies, and education by: engaging thousands of parents, educators and policy makers in the research of early childhood education. The Education Development Center is the prerequisites organization for youth and workforce development of international learners of all ages.

The Education Development Center's guided principles is center upon equity. They believe equity is about participation, they believe individuals should be an active participate in their communities and nation. They feel that equity requires understanding, and understand that their partners incorporate change better through the understanding of exclusion and it's characteristics. The Education Development Center understands that equity is intentional, and encourages their partners to ensure the inclusion of all. They know that equity empowers, and encourages that their participants engaged in the transformation of resources and systems. Overall, the Education Development Center knows that equity builds resilience, through providing individuals with a sense of ownership which strengths the community.

This organization goals are to form partnerships with diverse constituencies, translate research into practice and disseminate information to diverse audiences, determine the state of the nation and conduct research on critical issues in early childhood practices, and synthesize knowledge and recommend future directions.

This assessment also makes it easier for educator to communicate with their students parents and help them to gather information within the classroom. Teaching Strategies Gold helps educators to focus on what matters the most for school readiness. Teaching Strategies GOLD is research based, it is very reliable, and valid. 


Resource 2:  High/Scope COR (Child Observation Record)

Description: High/Scope COR (Child Observation Record) is an assessment tool for preschool children. This assessment tool is observation-based and whole-child assessment that educators follows a three step process to assess their students. The environment should be divided in to three environments, which is temporal, social and physicals environments. The temporal environment  is the sequence, timing and the length of the routines and activities that the student take part of everyday. The social environment is where the students interaction within the classroom among their peers, interaction between their educators and families. If these three environments are implemented within the classroom, educators will have a very well conductive classroom to the learning and development of their students.
